Johl Whiteduck Ringuette 

Founder Of R.U.N (RedUrbanNation)

Johl launched the Indigenous Harvesters and Artisans Market at the Bickford Centre in 2018 and 2019, with multiple partnerships, where he curated a series of murals painted by Indigenous artists. Through this initiative he is the founder of RUN the Red Urban Nation artists collective. A live interactive art exhibition featuring Johl's culinary arts appeared at Karsh Masson Gallery in Ottawa in 2015, titled BioART; Collaborating with Life. Johl received Aboriginal Businessman of the Year award in 2013.

DANIELLE HYDE

Artist

Danielle Hyde is a multi-disciplinary Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) artist and persons with a disability (OCD). They are a principle artist member of the Red Urban Nation Artist Collective (RUN) that creates Indigenous murals and supports emerging Indigenous artists and place-making. Danielle is also a member of the Toronto Indigenous Business Association, founder of CoCreations Art and is on the Board of Directors at Tangled Art and Disability Gallery.

Angela Aula

Artist

Angela is Inuit.  She was born in Iqaluit and lived in Hall Beach Nunavut. At the age of 8 she moved to Toronto. Angela is a painter and creative make-up artist on Tik-Tok.

Ren Lonechild

Artist

I'm a Cree Native and self taught artist, from Saskatchewan. I started drawing and sketching at a very young age, copying images from comic books and magazines. 
My father is an artist and I spent a lot of time watching him paint.  I also spent a lot of time in galleries attending art shows and auctions.  In 2016 I decided to try my hand at painting. Over the many years I had already acquired drawing techniques and skills, so painting became natural to me and I caught on quickly.

Trina Moyan

Artist

Trina is Nehiyaw iskwew (Plains Cree) from the Frog Lake First Nation in Northern Alberta,Treaty 6 medicine chest territory. Trinia's work within media and visual arts brought her to Toronto in 2003, where she is honoured to work and raise her family upon the lands of the ‘Dish with One Spoon’ treaty territories.

Rory is Anishinawbe and Algonquin. Rory has lived all his life in Toronto. Rory has pursued an interest in the culinary arts and has worked extensively for NishDish Catering since it's inception in 2005. In more recent years, Rory has expanded his interests to include large scale mural paintings participating in projects...
